♥ I'm a very laid-back, down to earth person, and I love just being nice to people. There's only a couple of feelings that are better than getting a kick out of someone thanking you. I'm very friendly and love chatting to people (once I start I can't shut up though, so watch out) and I'm welcoming to people who want to start up a conversation. So don't be afraid to just drop me a line if you see me hovering around any communities or you find me interesting.



♥ Be warned though, I can be very aggressive sometimes. Especially if you get into internet fights with me.

♥ I'm a teenager - prepare for teenage angst occasionally.



♥ Born in Australia, lives in Australia - and desperately wishing that I lived somewhere ELSE.



♥ My creative talents include writing and drawing. I'm also pretty quick to pick up instruments, but it's been years since I've touched a piano. :O



♥ Currently in the process of planning/writing a novel I've been working on for two years.
Before you ask, no, it's not finished, and yes, I am fucking slack as hell and write far less than I'd like.

The genre is supernatural/action with a bit of romance, and the themes are morality, humanity, society and the government and relational abuse. The general story is centered on the main character who is shares his body and mind with a possessive spirit (or, perhaps, is schizophrenic - it comes down to the reader's opinion). When young he effectively sold his soul to the spirit, thinking that in exchange he would selfishly get power. The ghost, however, destroyed him entirely and ran around the country in the main character's body, causing havoc and killing people indiscriminately. Almost a dozen years later, the main character awakens back into his body - broken, confused, still with the mentality of a child, and with no memories at all. He has to deal with the malevolent and cynical occupant, not to mention that human bodies are not made to house extra spirits - slowly, the ghost is killing the MC.
There's a lot more to the story including; a fascist government; a cast of other well developed characters who end up getting entangled in his travels; an abusive relationship between the main and a female character he kidnapped; and a never ending chase, led by the zealous military.



♥ Yes, gods forbid, I have an interest in Japan and Japanese culture. Lordy, get out the pitch forks and kill me now. (and just for the record no I'm not a Naruto-fapping otaku)
Why? Because I was born in Australia. Australia has a limited culture - it's basically just, like, a pick-n-mix of English and American. My values do not fit those of average Australians. I was brought up by an over-qualified, over-educated mother who's an acupuncturist, lived in China for years and travelled the world extensively. I'm not going to settle down, shit out a few kids, watch the Sunday AFL match with my fat hairy bastard of a husband, and a beer in my hand. I'm not that kind of person.

Saying that, why Japan? Because the country has a rich, glorious and exotic history and culture that makes up for the lack of anything unique in Australia. The myths, legends, religious beliefs, pop culture, language, environment, city-life - all of it draws me in. I do not think that Japan is better than the West or a holy country to be worshipped - like the rest of the world it has it's problems, and it's past isn't squeaky clean. But for me, it's a place of wonder and new experiences.



♥ On the subject of anime, I watch/read very few - Death Note, Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gantz, Devil May Cry, Chrno Crusade and (possibly, only just getting interest in it) Ghost in the Shell. I dislike Naruto with a passion, and it takes a lot for an anime/manga to interest me.



♥ I love jrock (it's not the only thing I listen to though.)



♥ Gackt runs my life. He is my favourite musician of all time, and he means everything to me. He is my Moon, and helps me through my life, just a little bit, every day. If you're going to friend me, or read my journal, keep in mine that I talk about him way too much.



♥ Other favorite musicians/bands are (jrock/pop) Kagrra, Abingdon Boys School, HYDE, Chachamaru, Moi dix Mois, Malice Mizer, TM Revolution, hide, SuG, X Japan and (western) Nine Inch Nails, Gotye, Placebo, The Chemical Brothers, The Presets, Air, Infusion, Kasabian, Scissor Sisters, Wolfmother, Pendulum, Muse, and others. Yes I'm a music freak.
And for the record, Miku from Antic Cafe scares the FUCK out of me. I'm being serious! ;;____;;



♥ I'd consider myself a gamer, even if, in reality, I don't actually game much at all. Starcraft is my ultimate game fandom, and yes, I am awaiting the sequel(s) with glee. I play a bit of Warcraft (not WoW though) too. Final Fantasy is love, and my favourite of the series is FFXII with FFVII coming close behind. I've finished Dirge of Cerberus (which I actually really enjoyed) and Crisis Core too (boo for dubs). Have FF:Tactics for my PSP too, although I haven't finished it yet (FUCK YOU BELIAS!)
Other favourite games are, in no particular order: Devil May Cry series, Kingdom Hearts 1+CoM+2, Guitar Hero, the oldschool Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Sims 2, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, and Pandemonium (yes, I mean the whack-job psychedelic PSX game).



♥ My favourite author is David Eddings (fantasy geek ahoy!). Stephen King is good, and so is Scott Westerfield. I used to have a shameless love affair with the original Dragonlance books (ILU Raistlin!).
If you say the word "Twilight" to me I will scream. I really don't like Twilight. :|



♥ I don't watch many movies. But my favourites are: Pan's Labyrinth, Moon Child, The Orphanage, Batman: The Dark Knight, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Twelve Monkeys, Layer Cake, Team America, Blades of Glory, Zoolander, Hot Fuzz, the Fuurin Kazan series, Scary Movie 3, Mars Attacks... and that's all I can think of at the moment. I love foreign movies, comedy, and well-done fantasy.


♥ I'm atheist - or, rather, 10% Pastafarian and 90% Gackist. 8D




♥ Just so you know, if you're gonna add me, be prepared to put up with my prattling. I usually blog at least ONCE a day, if not twice or three times. Usually these posts are just me fangirling or prattling to myself. Your friends page is like to get clogged up with my fail. 8D
